The Lord Raffles table is an outstanding piece of craftsmanship. I've been looking at this in the Design Toscano catalog for about 3 years, wondering what it would look like in my home. Well, it is simply fabulous. The hand-carved lions heads on each of the legs and the lions claw feet really showcase this table. The hand-carved stretcher bar with the gryphon is also a really nice addition and brings to mind old world styling and imagery. It's exactly what I needed to set off my study as a fine mahogany writing desk opposite my built-in shelves and computer desk. Visitors are amazed at this piece of artwork, and I am excited every time I walk by the study to see this table sitting in my home. It is a stunning masterpiece.
